Description

Vintage Catalina Decorative Seahorse wall plaque from their Undersea Garden series. The largest size at 13.5" across. This particular example is rather hard-to-find because of the matte Descanso Green border. Mint condition, with some very minimal brown glaze streaks. Excellent design definition glazed in the cuerda seca technique similar to the finest vintage California tiles. Catalina's designs were unique to their time and place, reflecting the clear waters and submarine gardens that still exist today outside of Avalon.
